The Resurrection Egg Hunt at YCMC with Gma Ruth and Gpa Tom. Noah loved it.
Anna working on her pouty-lipped model look against the lovely background of our play closet's flowery wall paper. It's as if Anna is saying, "ooohhh, so 80s."
Here is Anna on her first trip to Tommy's this spring. She just loves the swings. It's so fun to see how much more into the park she is this year than last. She really gets around and loves exploring.
Here is Anna having her first cigarette. Just kidding! It's a pretzel.
Below Noah, Tom and Ruth make fresh-squeezed lemonade from lemons brought back by Great Aunt Becky from Arizona. Man, was it good.
Here Anna waits for a ride in an organizing basket. She is so funny. She'll get in there and say, "ride, ride, ride." Who can resist that? I mean, really. As you can see she's also really into her dolls. She loves her "baby" and carries one baby or another around a lot of the time. You can't tell me there aren't hardwired gender differences. It's ridiculous. We had dolls for Noah too but he just didn't care. But Anna is a little mom all on her own. We did nothing to nurture it more in her. It's too funny.
Here is Noah after he successfully got the hat and coat on Gertie, our favorite neighborhood goose. Gertie's owners brought us this outfit for us to put on Gertie for April showers, so on March 31 we went over there with raincoat and rainhat in hand and put them on. It was so much fun.
Here is Anna striking a pose with Gertie. She loves Gertie too. These neighbors are just priceless for letting us come over so often. They even have a cute little bench and rocking chair for kids. Too much. We often take a picnic snack and eat it over there. It's a great destination for our walks/bike rides/wagon rides so we aren't just wandering aimlessly.

Sweet Anna with her sexy lips and pretzel cigarette are just too much!! Seriously, Eli is going to be after that girl in a few years. And I love your Gertie news. I used to make fun of those geese but now I totally see that there is a purpose for their invention.
Anna's face has changed so much in the last few months. She looks so much older now--very pretty! Hope to see you this summer when we are in Goshen for a couple weeks in the middle of July.
When have your kids grown up on me? Seriously, they look like they are so much older now!!! I love the pictures! Too cute!
