Sometimes Northern Indiana gets a bad reputation. People wonder what in the world we do to have fun, especially in the midst of winter. What do we do to have fun? What DON'T we do to have fun. This is a happening place. Don't ever doubt it. Rain or shine, sun or snow, we've got plenty to do. Here's just the tip of the iceberg for the Yoder Schrock family. Playing the nose flute.
Meeting new friend Adah Landis.
Wearing matching jean jackets. Do we know it's dorky? Of course. Can we help ourselves? No!
Making snow people.
Striking sassy poses
Being crazy with a sibling while Mommy is gone and the more-permissive Daddy is on duty.
Reading to babies "Anna" and "Samuel." Seriously Anna reads to them the entire time it takes me to get ready in the morning. She loves to read and always wants a book in her hand--in bed at night she wants "a stack of books," in the car she wants at least 2 in her hands. We read them to her once and then she wants to read them to us. It is the cutest thing.
Writing our names. Noah just got interested in writing his name and the first time he tried, this is what we got. Awesome!!
Going to First Fridays. We do this every month, but here we are in February going from dinner to hear the Dutchersmith family singers. Awesome! I love this town.
More fun in the snow for everyone including "baby Samuel." Seriously this doll goes everywhere with us.
We loved you February. We're going to miss your snow and the way you force us to find so many fun things to do inside, but we'll gladly adjust and try to have fun outside in the coming months, too. ha ha!
