It is becoming a little bit of a tradition for us to get away to Chicago for a few days around Christmas time with my parents each year. We enjoy doing kid-friendly things like going to the children's museum and the Museum of Science & Industry, riding the bus, playing hide-and-seek in the condo, and eating at Rainforst Cafe. This year we also walked along Michigan Avenue, visited the church where my parents attend when they're in Chicago, and ate out at their favorite neighborhood pancake house, which were highlights for the adults as well as the kids. Mostly it is just fun being together.
