Labor Day Weekend was a lovely weekend "away" with friends. It was only about a 45 minute drive for us, but it felt like we were in another land. I guess technically we were since it was Michigan. Anyway, we spent the time with our dear friends and their children. We swam, hiked, blew bubbles, played on the playground, played games, read stories, roasted marshmallows, and just had an all around great time. Noah especially loved hanging out with his friend Henry and Anna relished her time with Eliza. Though sleep was often difficult to come by for the kids being in a new setting and knowing that friends were nearby, it was still a great, fun, relaxing weekend.
