October was a fairly low-key, normal month at our house. Below are some of the things I hope to remember...
FLOWERS
Anna cuts and arranges her first flower boquet all by herself. She was cutting down some roses I had received and putting them in a smaller vase. So sweet.
FUNNY FINDS
We had this wasp nest in our yard so after the first frost we cut it down and opened it up to see what it looked like inside. It was awesome.

FRESH BEAT BAND
We took in a great Fresh Beat concert at the Morris. It was really fun--lots of dancing in the aisles for Anna, dancing at his seat for Noah and fun watching and singing along for me and Jon.
FERNWOOD
Another fun annual tradition. We love to watch the trains, explore the nature center, and hike to the waterwheel and the river.
