Soccer was a disaster. Noah spent all but one game standing on the sidelines or in the game motionless. Sometimes he would play goalie and then he was fine. It was so weird. He loves soccer, did great at practices, but when it came time to play in front of all the people at the games, he would freak out and get major stagefright. It was doubly strange because he had played T-ball in the summer where there were people watching but he hadn't had any trouble then. Anyhoo, for the last game he decided to play (thanks to a big incentive from Mommy) and he loved it. He scored a goal and said emphatically that he wanted to play again next year. We'll see. We want to encourage him in sports and in what he likes, but if we have to sit outside at another game with a windchill of 30 degrees just to watch him stand on the sidelines, we're not doing it. And what is so sad is that Anna wanted to play so badly but she wasn't old enough. Next year, girl. Next year. Thanks for coming to the last game with your good camera, Grandpa John.
