MLK Weekend this year was a blast as always because I got to spend it with some of my best friends in the world and their cute bambinos. Noah and Anna spent the weekend with Gma Ruth and Gpa Tom (which they LOVED), and I got to sit around, talk with friends, and drink coffee. Due to the many little babies in the group this year we decided to gather in good ol' Goshen so we could just hang out and lay low and not feel pressure to do sight seeing etc. And laying low is exactly what we did. We did manage to go out for dinner at Kelly Jae's on Saturday night and to go to Uptown Kitchen for brunch on Sunday, and I arranged for some folks to come in and give us mani/pedis and massages just for fun but mostly we just sat around. It was fantastic.
We kicked off the weekend with shower/brunch at home to celebrate the upcoming birth of Amy's little one.
We wrote in an advice book for Amy.
Here Amy opens one of her gifts.
We took many pix of the four boys who are so close in age it isn't even funny. Here are Samuel, Hans, Jack and Leo.
Auntie Amy then gifted all of us with little ones with matching pjs so we got a pic of some of the kids in their outfits on the last night (when Anna and Noah were back home again).
Once home again Noah and Anna could play with the babies. Here they are with the real baby Samuel and his namesake Anna's doll Samuel.
