In late July we went to Chicago to spend the day with our friends Lisa, Breck, Eliza and Leo. It was fun to hang with them and to see the sights of the town.
Switching things up with the strollers was one highlight for the kids.
Another joy was helping Lisa make pancakes on Saturday morning.
Going to the zoo to see the animals and ride the carousel was a highlight for Noah. Anna fell asleep right before we got there so she saw less of the zoo than Noah.
But she still saw a lot and had fun hanging around with Eliza. These two are pretty cute together.
Then on our walk home we came across a part of the street lined with paintings of superheroes. Noah posed beside each one. I will spare you the 6 or 7 pictures we took, but here is Noah beside his two favorite super heroes. This really was a "Jackpot!" find because Noah is quite into superheroes these days.

I know where that is! That would indeed be a jackpot for us these days too.
We so loved having you here! Come again soon! LOVE the super hero pics of Noah. I think of him when we walk by that intersection.
